Laughs on Tour presents another crowd pleasing night of laughs with Aotearoa’s favourite comedians! The two hour comedy showcase is taking over Brewtown in Upper Hutt on Sunday 5th of February.

Kicking off the lineup as MC for the night is 2021 Fred Award winner Eli Matthewson. Eli has seen wild success since kicking off his comedy career, he’s starred on 7 Days, Dancing with the Stars, and Shortland Street. This head writer of Have You Been Paying Attention is also one half of the dreamteam behind the popular podcast, The Male Gayz alongside co-host Chris Parker. They’re collaborating again on their latest show called, Chris & Eli's Porn Revolution. This two time Billy T Award nominee’s (2013, 2015) Edinburgh Festival debut earned him five star reviews and several sell-out shows.

Next in the lineup with the evening’s headline act is Tom Sainsbury, A.K.A the Snapchat dude. He’s entertained Kiwi audiences online, on stage, and on screen. He’s been seen on Wellington Paranormal, 7 Days, Snack Masters NZ and more. Tom got his claim to fame for taking the mickey out of politicians on Snapchat, taking on the persona of Paula Bennett and Simon Bridges, as well as his parallel life as Gingerbread the cat.

The 2022 National Raw Comedy Quest winner Hoani Hotene, and newcomer with an insane following on TikTok and Facebook, Chardé Heremaia comes in to round out the night.
